Summary / When to Use This

Every project in OnRamp has two key health indicators: Engagement and On-Time Performance Health. These metrics help you quickly see how a project is progressing and where attention may be needed.

On-Time Performance Health

This metric tracks whether tasks are being completed on schedule.

How it’s calculated:

  • Formula: Number of overdue tasks ÷ Total number of tasks due to date

Health levels:

  • On Track (0–19%) → Most tasks are completed on time.

  • At Risk (20–60%) → Some overdue tasks, may impact delivery.

  • Off Track (>60%) → Many overdue tasks, likely delaying the project.

⚠️ Note: This is different from a project’s Status. A project is marked Overdue when its End Date has passed and it’s still In Progress, regardless of task percentages.

Engagement

Engagement shows how recently activity has happened on a project.

How it’s calculated:

  • Formula: Days since last activity on the project

Engagement levels:

  • High (≥ 5 days) → Healthy, recent activity.

  • Medium (6–10 days) → Some slowdown, monitor progress.

  • Low (>10 days) → No recent activity, project may be stalling.

Tips & Troubleshooting

  • A project may show High Engagement but be Off Track if work is happening but tasks are overdue.

  • A project may show Low Engagement but be On Track if tasks were completed early and no new work is needed.

  • Use both metrics together for the most accurate picture of project health.
