On Tasks and Projects pages, you can access powerful filters that let you drill down to see nearly any subset of Project or Task information in OnRamp. You may want to use filters to do things like:
Keep tabs on your upcoming and overdue tasks
Review the progress and status of projects for everyone on your team
See how many projects are ongoing and recently completed for a particular type of Playbook
...and much more!
Note that there are a few default filters to help you get started.
Setting a filter
To set a filter, click the filter button on the top right to pull out the filter menu.
You have many options to choose from that let you tune up the filter for the view you wish to see.
A Rolling Window represents a dynamic period of time that will be automatically updated e.g., if you want to view the tasks you have coming due in the next week.
When you're done tuning the filter, click "Show Results" to see your filter applied on the main page.
Saving and managing filters
You can save filters for easy future access. To do so, when accessing the filter menu, click "Save filter". You will then name the filter to save it!
To view a saved filter, pull out the filters menu and click the drop-down at the top to select, then "Show Results" at the bottom. To re-arrange the order of this list, click "My filters" to be taken to Settings where you can easily drag/drop.
Tip - sharing filters: When viewing a filter on the Tasks or Projects page you can copy/paste the URL to a teammate where they can save or favorite the filter themselves if they wish!
Easy access to your favorite filters
If you want easy access to certain saved filters without having to pull up the filters menu, you can add them as a favorite. This will add the filter to the top of the main page for one-click access.
To set a filter as a favorite, pull up the filters menu, select the filter from the dropdown, and click the "star" icon to set it as a favorite. You can remove a filter from favorites at any time this way as well.
