When to Use This

The Insights dashboard gives you a data-driven view of how your Playbooks, Projects, and Tasks are performing. Use it to track completion trends, monitor timelines, and identify areas for improvement. Each Insights tab includes AI-generated summaries that automatically interpret your data and surface performance insights.

Before You Begin

Make sure:

  • Your account has access to Insights (visible in the left-hand navigation bar).

  • You have active projects or playbooks with measurable data (e.g., tasks completed, projects closed).

  • Data is available for the selected date range — located in the upper-right corner of the Insights page.

Steps to Follow

1. Open the Insights Dashboard

From the left navigation, click Insights.
You’ll see three tabs across the top: Playbooks, Projects, and Tasks. Each one focuses on a different layer of your OnRamp performance data.

2. Adjust the Date Range

At the top-right corner of the screen, use the date range selector to define the time period for your reports.

You can choose:

  • Quick ranges (e.g., Last 7 Days, Last 90 Days, This Month)

  • Or a custom range by setting specific start and end dates

Click Apply to refresh all graphs and summaries with the new time frame.

💡 Tip: The AI Insights Summary and all charts update automatically to reflect the selected period.

Insights Tabs Overview

🟪 Playbooks Tab

Use this tab to understand how your playbooks perform over time and identify which ones drive the most project completions.

Key Sections:

  • AI Insights Summary
Click Generate AI Summary to have OnRamp analyze your playbook data.
    The summary highlights:

    • Most-used playbooks

    • Average duration per implementation

    • Underused or outdated playbooks

    • Efficiency trends and recommendations

  • Projects Completed by Playbook
A visual trend chart showing playbook activity over time. Each colored band represents a specific playbook’s completion volume.

  • Project Performance by Playbook
A detailed table comparing each playbook’s:

    • # of Projects

    • Average Performance (deviation from expected duration)

    • Expected Duration

💡 Example Insight:
If a playbook’s average performance shows +13d, it’s running longer than planned—consider revisiting task dependencies or automation triggers.

🟩 Projects Tab

The Projects tab reveals your overall onboarding health and delivery trends.

Key Sections:

  • AI Insights Summary
Generates a written overview of completion rates, overdue projects, and efficiency patterns.
You’ll learn how your delivery timelines and risk management practices are performing.

    • Completed

    • On Track

    • At Risk

    • Overdue

  • Project Starts and Completions
Line chart comparing how many projects were started vs. completed each month.

  • Project Owner Workload
A bar graph displaying how projects are distributed across team members — ideal for balancing workloads or spotting bottlenecks.

⚙️ Example Use Case:
If one project owner’s bar is significantly higher than others, you may need to redistribute ownership or automate handoffs.

🟦 Tasks Tab

The Tasks tab focuses on task-level performance and customer feedback.

Key Sections:

  • AI Insights Summary
Provides AI-driven commentary on task completion rates, response trends, and satisfaction patterns.

    • User name

    • Feedback sentiment (👍 / 👎)

💡 Tip: Use the Task Feedback section to identify high-impact improvements or celebrate standout customer interactions.
