Need to give someone a gentle push to keep things moving? Use Nudge Reminders to send a message directly from OnRamp and remind a teammate or customer about a task that needs their attention.

This is a manual nudge (different from automated reminders) and gives you space to add a personal note.

Steps to Follow

  1. Open any project

    • Navigate to the Projects tab and select the relevant project.

  2. Find the task you want to nudge about

    • Hover over the task to reveal additional icons.

  3. Click the paper plane icon

    • This is the Nudge Reminder icon.

  4. Review or update recipients

    • By default, the task assignee(s) will be pre-filled.

    • You can add other users if needed.

  5. Write your message

    • Add a custom note to explain why you're nudging or what action is needed.

  6. Click Send

    • Each recipient will receive a personalized email reminder with your message and a direct link to the task.

What the Nudge Email Looks Like

Recipients will get a clean, branded email with:

  • Your name and message

  • The project and task name

  • A direct link to the task

Tips & Troubleshooting

  • Don’t overdo it – These are in addition to automatic reminders, so use sparingly to avoid email fatigue.

  • Separate messages – If you add multiple recipients, each one gets their own email.

  • Track what you send – You’ll be CC’d on each email you send.

  • Audit trail – Nudge reminders are logged in the Project Activity for transparency.
