Send a Nudge Reminder About a Task
Last updated: March 13, 2026
When a task needs attention and the automated reminders aren’t cutting through, a Nudge sends a personal, branded email directly to the assignee — with your message and a direct link to the task.
Steps
- Go to Projects and open the relevant project.
- Find the task you want to nudge about.
- Hover over the task to reveal the action icons, then click the paper plane icon (Nudge Reminder).
- Review the recipients — the task assignee(s) are pre-filled. Add others if needed.
- Write your message explaining what action is needed.
- Click Send.
Each recipient gets their own personalized email with your message, the project and task name, and a direct link to the task.
What the Nudge Email Includes
- Your name and custom message
- The project and task name
- A direct link to the task
Tips
- Use sparingly — nudges are in addition to automatic reminders. Too many emails creates fatigue.
- Each recipient gets a separate email — so messages are individual, not a group send.
- You’re CC’d on every nudge you send, so you have a record.
- Nudges are logged in the Project Activity for transparency and audit trail purposes.
