Introduction
OnRamp’s Views feature lets you save a filtered list of tasks or projects so you can quickly return to it later. Custom views are perfect when you need to track a specific set of work streams—such as high‑priority tasks, all tasks assigned to a certain teammate, or projects due in the next week. By saving your filters and column preferences, you can access the same view again without rebuilding it each time.
Before You Begin
You have access to a project board or the task list in OnRamp. Views can be created from the Projects, Tasks, or Incoming pages.
You know how to apply filters (for example, by stage, assignee, due date or status) and understand which task fields you want to display (e.g. status, owner, due date).
You want to monitor a particular subset of work on a recurring basis.
Steps
Navigate to a list – Open the area of OnRamp you want to filter: a project board, the Tasks list, or your Incoming view.
Apply filters – Use the filter panel to select criteria for your custom view (e.g., show only open tasks assigned to you, tasks in a specific stage, or projects with a particular tag).
Choose columns – If you are on a table view, add or remove columns to display the fields most important to you (status, owner, due date, etc.).
Save the view – Click Save view (usually found near the filter bar), give your view a descriptive name, and confirm. You can optionally share the view with teammates.
Access your saved view – Your custom view appears in the Saved views section. Click its name anytime to return to the filtered list. You can edit or delete saved views from the same menu.
Tips
Name views clearly so you and your colleagues know what they show (e.g. “My high‑priority tasks this week”).
Use saved views to watch progress on a new feature, track blockers across several projects, or monitor tasks assigned to a new teammate.
You can create as many views as you need. Delete old views when they are no longer helpful to keep your list tidy.
