Connect HubSpot (legacy integration)
Last updated: October 2, 2026
Who can do this: Super Admins
When you connect the legacy HubSpot integration, you can turn HubSpot deals into projects from Incoming. Each project linked to a deal also syncs a fixed set of project details to that deal.
The legacy integration is available to organizations that already use it. New setups connect through Integrations+ instead. See Connect HubSpot to OnRamp.
Before you begin
- You need to be an admin of the HubSpot account you're connecting.
- Your organization can connect only one CRM on Integrations, so the legacy Salesforce integration can't be connected at the same time.
Connect HubSpot
- Go to Settings > Integrations.
- Select HubSpot.
- On the Overview tab, select Connect to HubSpot.
- In HubSpot, approve the connection.
You return to Integrations, where HubSpot shows Connected.
Choose which deals come in
Incoming lists deals in the deal stage you save here. Until you save one, it lists deals in the Closed Won stage. It also leaves out deals that closed before the cutoff date. That date starts as the day your organization was created in OnRamp.
- On Integrations, select HubSpot.
- Under Configuration, select a pipeline in Deal Pipeline, then a stage in Deal Stage.
- Optional: In Choose your cutoff date for inbound projects to populate, select a different date.
- Select Save.
You see HubSpot integration updated.
What syncs to HubSpot
For each project linked to a deal, the integration syncs these project details to deal properties, HubSpot's name for its fields. The Synced fields table on the Overview tab lists the same set.
| Name in HubSpot | What it holds |
|---|---|
| OnRamp Project Status | The project's status |
| OnRamp Project Name | The project's name |
| OnRamp Project Owner | The project's owner |
| OnRamp Project End Date | The project's end date |
| OnRamp Project Progress | The project's completion percentage |
| OnRamp Project Next Up Task | The project's next task |
| OnRamp Project On-Time Performance | The project's on-time performance |
| OnRamp Project Engagement | The project's engagement score |
| OnRamp Project URL | A link to the project in OnRamp |
| OnRamp Project Days From Start | How many days the project has been active |
Create projects from incoming deals
Incoming is in the main navigation, for Super Admins, Creators and Integrators. It has three tabs:
- Pending lists up to 45 deals, most recent close date first. To create a project from one, select Create Project on its row. The project setup opens with the deal's name filled in.
- Linked Projects lists projects created from deals, grouped by account. After you create a project from Pending, the deal leaves Pending and its project shows here.
- Hidden lists hidden deals that have no project. To hide a deal on Pending, select Hide Deal, then Confirm. To bring one back, select Unhide Deal, then Confirm.
Link an existing project to a deal
Creators and Integrators can do this too.
- On the project's Settings tab, under Project Integration Settings, enter the deal's name in HubSpot Deal, then select the deal.
- Select Save changes.
You see Integration settings updated.
Remove the connection
Warning: There's no confirmation step. Remove connection takes effect as soon as you select it.
To remove the connection, select HubSpot on Integrations, and then select Remove connection. Incoming then stops listing deals. If you connect again later, set your pipeline, stage and cutoff date again.
