Using AI Summaries to Analyze Task Comments

OnRamp allows you to generate AI-powered summaries from your Views, helping you quickly understand patterns in customer behavior and project activity.

One powerful use case is analyzing task comments from customers.

By creating a view focused on task comments and running an AI summary, you can quickly uncover:

  • Frequently asked customer questions

  • Tasks that cause confusion

  • Patterns in onboarding challenges

  • Opportunities to improve task instructions

This helps teams continuously improve their onboarding experience.


Creating a Task Comment View

To analyze customer comments, start by creating a view that surfaces the comment data you want to analyze.

  1. Navigate to Views from the left-hand menu

  2. Click Create View

You can either:

  • Start with the Customer Task Comments template, or

  • Create a custom view

When creating your view:

  • Select the Task Comment object

  • Apply filters to narrow the data

  • Choose which columns you want to display

For example, you might filter for:

  • Customer comments only

  • Comments from a specific playbook

  • Comments from recent projects

Once the view displays the data you want to analyze, save the view.


Running an AI Summary

After saving the view, you can generate an AI summary.

The AI analyzes the data shown in the view and produces a summary that highlights key patterns and insights.

To generate a summary:

  1. Open the saved view

  2. Click Generate AI Summary

The summary will analyze the comments and surface insights such as:

  • common themes in customer questions

  • tasks receiving the most feedback

  • trends in customer engagement

You can also regenerate the summary if the underlying data changes.


Example Insights

AI summaries can help identify areas where customers may be experiencing friction during onboarding.

For example, the summary might reveal:

  • Customers frequently asking questions about configuration requirements

  • Repeated confusion around billing setup

  • Multiple comments related to scheduling coordination

These insights highlight tasks that may need clearer instructions or improved documentation.
