Export Data from OnRamp

Need to run a custom report, archive project data, or share information with another system? OnRamp’s export tool lets you pull structured data into a downloadable file in a few clicks.


Steps

  1. From the left menu, click Settings, then select Exports. You’ll see a list of previous exports here.
  2. To start a new export, click + New Export in the top-right corner.
  3. Choose the export type:
    • Projects
    • Tasks
    • Accounts
    • Internal Users
    • Customer Users
    • Bulk Data Export
  4. Set your filters. Common options include:
    • Status — Active, Completed, Archived, or All
    • Timeframe — a date range
    • Date Field — which field the timeframe filter applies to
    Different export types may have additional filter options.
  5. Click Create. You’ll get a confirmation message, and an email notification when the export is ready.
  6. Once complete, the export status changes to Complete. Click Download to grab the file, or Remove to clean up the list.

Only one export can run at a time — if one is pending, wait for it to finish before starting another.


Tips & Troubleshooting

  • Don’t see the export option? Exports are typically available to Admin users — check your permissions.
  • Export taking too long? Try narrowing the timeframe or filtering by fewer statuses.
  • Didn’t get the completion email? Check spam/junk, or download directly from the Exports page.
