Insights Options
Last updated: March 12, 2026
The Insights Options panel allows administrators to control how certain data is included in Insights reporting.
These settings help ensure that reports reflect the data that is most relevant to your team’s operational analysis.
Accessing Insights Options
To access Insights options:
Open Insights from the left navigation menu.
Click the Options button in the upper-right corner of the Insights page.
This opens the Insights configuration panel.
Exclude Archived Playbooks & Projects
The primary setting available in Insights Options is Exclude Archived Playbooks & Projects.
When enabled, archived items will not be included in Insights calculations.
What this affects
When this option is turned on, the following items are excluded from reports:
Archived Playbooks
Archived Projects
Tasks that belong to archived projects
This helps keep Insights focused on active onboarding work, rather than historical or intentionally archived data.
When to Use This Option
Many teams choose to exclude archived items when they want Insights to reflect only their current operational workflows.
For example:
Removing test projects from analytics
Excluding cancelled onboarding projects
Ignoring deprecated playbooks that are no longer in use
By filtering out archived data, reports can better reflect the performance of currently active processes.
When to Leave It Disabled
If you want Insights to include historical data for long-term analysis, you may choose to leave this option disabled.
Including archived items can be useful when reviewing:
Historical onboarding performance
Past project trends
Playbook performance across long time periods
Summary
The Insights Options panel allows teams to control whether archived items are included in reporting.
This setting helps ensure that Insights reports reflect the data that is most meaningful for your team’s analysis and decision-making.
