Portal Insights

The Portal tab in Insights provides reporting on how customers interact with the Customer Portal.

These reports help teams understand customer engagement during onboarding, including how often customers access projects, which users are most active, and when portal activity occurs.

Monitoring portal activity can help teams identify engaged customers, detect stalled onboarding efforts, and better understand how customers interact with shared project work.


AI Insights Summary

At the top of the Portal Insights page, the AI Insights Summary analyzes portal activity during the selected date range.

The summary highlights patterns such as:

  • Overall portal engagement levels

  • Changes in customer activity over time

  • The most active accounts or users

  • Trends in project participation

This provides a quick overview of portal usage before reviewing the detailed reports below.


Portal Activity

The Portal Activity section provides a summary of customer interaction with the portal.

Metrics include:

Total number of portal visits during the selected period

Unique Users

Number of individual users who accessed the portal

Unique Projects

Number of projects accessed in the portal

Avg Visits per User

Average number of visits per user

Additional highlights may include:

  • Top User – The most active portal user

  • Top Account – The account with the highest portal activity

  • Peak Day – The day with the most portal activity

  • Peak Time – The time of day when portal usage is highest

These insights help teams understand how actively customers are engaging with their onboarding projects.


Overall Portal Engagement

The Overall Portal Engagement chart displays portal activity trends across the selected timeframe.

This chart helps teams identify:

  • Increases or decreases in portal activity

  • Engagement patterns during onboarding

  • Periods of high customer interaction

Changes in engagement levels can indicate shifts in onboarding progress or customer participation.


Daily Activity Details

The Daily Activity Details table provides a detailed breakdown of portal activity.

Each record includes information such as:

  • Date

  • User

  • Account

  • Project accessed

  • First visit time

  • Last visit time

  • Total visits

This report helps teams review specific customer interactions and understand how customers are accessing their projects.
