Advanced Filtering in OnRamp
Last updated: March 13, 2026
When your project list gets long, advanced filters are how you cut through the noise — zero in on exactly the tasks or projects you need, save views you use daily, and pin your favorites for one-click access.
Steps
1. Open the Filter Menu
- Go to the Tasks or Projects page.
- Click the Filter button in the top-right corner.
2. Set Your Filters
Mix and match any combination of:
- Date Range or Rolling Window — e.g. tasks due in the next 7 days
- User Type or Completed By — internal users, customer users, or specific teammates
- Project Status — Active or All
- On Projects / On Modules — target specific projects or modules
- Task Status and Progress — In Progress, Complete, or below a certain % finished
- Dependencies — show tasks with or without blockers
Click Show Results to apply.
3. Save a Filter
- After setting your filter, click Save filter.
- Give it a clear name.
- Access saved filters any time from the drop-down in the filter menu.
4. Favorite a Filter for Quick Access
- Select a saved filter from the drop-down.
- Click the star icon to favorite it.
- Favorited filters appear at the top of your Tasks or Projects page for one-click access.
5. Manage Filters
- Click My Filters to open filter settings.
- Drag and drop to reorder, or remove filters you no longer need.
Tips & Troubleshooting
- Rolling Window filters update automatically — perfect for ongoing views like “tasks due this week.”
- Share a filter by copying the page URL and sending it to a teammate. They can save it for their own use.
- Results look off? Check for multiple overlapping filters — look for the Filters Applied badge at the top.
- Use Clear All at the bottom of the filter menu to reset quickly.
