When to Use This

Sometimes you need to track quick action items that don’t belong to a specific project. For example, you might need to prepare a report covering all projects, or capture a follow-up task from a meeting. To-dos give you a lightweight way to manage these one-off work items directly from your Dashboard.

Steps to Follow

1. Create a To-do

  1. From the left sidebar, click Create.

  2. Select To-do from the dropdown menu.

  3. In the Create To-do window, fill out the form:

    • Title – Give your to-do a short, clear name.

    • Description (optional) – Add extra details or context.

    • Assignee – Defaults to you, but you can assign it to another team member.

    • Due Date – Defaults to today, but you can set any date.

    • Flag – (Optional) Mark the to-do as important.

👉 If you assign multiple users, each person gets their own copy of the to-do.

  4. (Optional) Check Create another to-do if you’re entering several in a row.

  5. Click Create To-do.

2. View and Manage To-dos

  • On your Dashboard, you’ll see tiles showing your to-do counts:

    • Today – Due today

    • Overdue – Past due

    • Future – Due later

    • All – Every active to-do

  • Click a tile to view the list of items in that category.

  • Open any to-do to:

    • Edit details

    • Reassign to another user

    • Change the due date

    • Delete or mark complete

Tips & Troubleshooting

  • Assigning to multiple users creates individual to-dos—everyone gets their own task to track.

  • Use the flag option for high-priority tasks so they’re easier to spot in your list.

  • Completed to-dos are removed from the Dashboard tiles but stay available under Completed for reference.
