Use the HubSpot integration to sync key OnRamp project details directly to your HubSpot Deals—and create Projects in OnRamp from incoming Deals. This connection helps align your onboarding team and your sales team so everyone stays on the same page.


Before You Begin

  • You must be a Super Admin to set up the integration.

  • You need an active HubSpot account with API access permissions.


1. Go to the Integrations Settings

This is where all external connections live.

  • In OnRamp, click Settings in the left navigation.

  • Under Advanced, select Integrations.


2. Connect HubSpot

This links OnRamp with your HubSpot account.

  • Find the HubSpot tile and click Connect.

  • Follow the authorization prompts to complete the connection.

    • If successful, the tile will show a Connected status.


3. Link a Project to a HubSpot Deal

This keeps project progress visible inside HubSpot.

  • When creating a new Project, you’ll be prompted to link to a HubSpot Deal.

  • Or, open any existing Project and:

    • Go to Settings > Integrations,

    • Click Link a Deal, then search for and select the correct Deal.


4. Review Incoming Deals

Quickly turn new wins into Projects.

  • Once connected, newly Closed Won Deals in HubSpot will appear in Projects > Incoming in OnRamp.

  • Click Convert to Project to create a Project already linked to that Deal.

📝 Note: Only future deals will show up—OnRamp does not backfill historical Deals.


What Fields Sync to HubSpot?

When a Project is linked to a HubSpot Deal, OnRamp automatically pushes key onboarding fields. These appear under a section like OnRamp Information inside the Deal view in HubSpot.

Tips & Troubleshooting

  • If you're not seeing Deals in the Incoming tab, confirm the Deal is in Closed Won stage.

  • Projects must be manually linked to Deals to see OnRamp fields in HubSpot.

  • Want to automate this? Consider setting up Zapier or API-based automations to streamline linking.
