Overview

Tasks are where work gets done in OnRamp. Each task includes clear instructions, due dates, and often subtasks to guide you step by step. Completing tasks keeps your project moving forward and gives both your team and ours visibility into progress.

Steps to Complete a Task

  1. Open your project.

  2. In the task list, click on a task that’s assigned to you.

  3. Review the task details — you’ll see:

    • Description of what needs to be done

    • Due date

    • Assigned role or person

    • Any attachments, links, or instructions

  4. If there are subtasks, complete each one in order. Subtasks can include:

    • Checkboxes

    • File requests or uploads

    • Text entry fields

    • Links or embedded content

  5. Once you’ve finished, click Mark Complete.

Collaborating on Tasks

  • Use the Comments section inside the task to ask questions, share updates, or @mention teammates.

  • Upload files directly to the task so everything stays in one place.

  • Notifications will alert teammates when you add comments or complete a task.

Tips

  • Can’t find your tasks? Use the Tasks tab in the left-hand menu to see everything assigned to you across all projects.

  • Need more detail? Subtasks often include step-by-step guidance — open them for specifics.

  • Running behind? Talk with your project lead before changing due dates.

✅ Completing tasks isn’t just checking a box — it’s how projects move forward, milestones get reached, and onboarding stays on track.
