Summary / When to Use This

You can make certain Playbooks available for self-service, so customers can start their own projects without waiting on your team. By limiting access to specific accounts, you control exactly which customers can initiate these Playbooks.

Steps to Follow

  1. Open your Playbook Library
From the left-hand menu, go to Library and open the Playbook you want to make self-service.

  2. Go to the Portal tab
Once inside the Playbook, click the Portal tab at the top.

  3. Open Self-Service Settings
Click the Settings button in the upper-right corner. In the pop-up, scroll to the Self-Service Settings section.

  4. Allow specific accounts

    • In the Allowed Accounts field, select which customer accounts can start this Playbook on their own.

    • If you leave this field blank, any customer user can create a self-service project from this Playbook.

    • If you specify accounts, only those customers will see and use the Playbook.

  5. Click Save
Your changes take effect immediately, and customers will see the Playbook in their portal if they’re eligible.

Tips & Troubleshooting

  • Need broader access? Leave the Allowed Accounts field blank to make the Playbook available to all customers.

  • Don’t see the option? Make sure the Playbook is published and you have admin permissions.

  • Testing before rollout: Impersonate a customer user (from the Members tab) to confirm they see the Playbook as expected.
