Manage OnRamp Notifications and Email Settings

Keeping your team and customers informed doesn’t have to be manual. OnRamp’s notification and email settings let you control weekly summaries, task reminders, and system-generated emails — all from two places in the app.


1. Set Notification Preferences for Customer Accounts

To configure summary and reminder emails sent to customers:

  1. From the left navigation, click Accounts.
  2. Select the Notifications tab at the top.

You’ll see two sections:

Weekly Summary

  • Sends a high-level project summary to each customer user once a week (typically Fridays).
  • Set the preferred time and time zone for delivery.
  • Toggle On/Off to enable or disable.

Reminders

  • Sends automated reminders for upcoming and overdue tasks.
  • Click Schedule to configure:
    • Upcoming Task Reminder — how many days before the due date to send
    • Overdue Task Reminder — how often to repeat after a task becomes overdue
  • Set your preferred time of day and time zone.
  • Toggle each reminder On/Off independently.

2. Enable or Disable System Emails

To manage system-generated emails across your entire organization:

  1. Go to Settings from the left navigation.
  2. Click Emails under the Personal section.

Emails are grouped into two categories:

Emails for Customers & Organization

  • Comment
  • Help Request
  • Project Completed
  • Project End Date Updated
  • Project Note
  • Task Nudge

Emails for Customers Only

  • Customer Invitation
  • Customer PIN Request

For each email, click Preview to see the message content, or use the toggle to enable or disable it.

⚠️ Heads up: Disabling system emails may cause confusion or delays for your customers and internal users. Proceed with caution.


Tips & Troubleshooting

  • Reminder and summary settings apply globally across all projects.
  • Email content is standardized and not editable, but your organization’s name, logo, and color scheme will be applied automatically.
  • If a user reports not receiving a notification, verify their role and email status, and confirm notifications are enabled in both Accounts → Notifications and Settings → Emails.
