Using the Responses Tab
Last updated: March 10, 2026
The Responses tab provides a centralized view of all answers submitted through project subtasks. It allows internal teams to review information collected throughout the onboarding process without needing to open each task individually.
This view is especially helpful when projects collect structured information from customers or internal teams through subtasks.
Responses are typically collected through subtask types such as:
Text inputs
Dropdown selections
Yes/No questions
File uploads
Tables or lists
Signatures
Rich text responses
The Responses tab brings all of that information together in one place.
Accessing the Responses Tab
To view collected responses:
Open a Project
Select the Responses tab at the top of the project
You will see a structured view of responses organized by module and task.
Understanding the Responses Layout
Responses are displayed in a structured format that mirrors the project’s task organization.
Information is grouped in the following hierarchy:
Module → Task → Subtask Question → Response
This allows you to easily follow the context of each answer.
Each module header also displays a purple circular indicator to the left of the module name. This circle represents the completion percentage of that module, giving you a quick visual indication of how much of that module’s work has been completed.
Within each module you will see:
The tasks that contain responses
The subtask questions or prompts
The responses submitted
For each response you can typically see:
The subtask or question name
The submitted answer
Who completed the response
When it was completed
If a subtask includes a file upload, the uploaded file will also appear within the response view. These files can be opened directly from this page, allowing you to quickly review submitted documents without needing to navigate back to the original task.
Each task row also includes an eye icon, which allows you to jump directly to that task if you need to review or update the response in more detail.
This structure makes it easy to review all collected onboarding information in one place.
Viewing Responses for a Task
Within each module section, tasks that contain responses will appear along with their associated questions.
Each subtask shows:
The question or input label
The response value
A small eye icon that allows you to jump directly to the task
Selecting the eye icon opens the task so you can review or update the information if needed.
Exporting Responses
At the top of the page, you will see the Export Responses button.
This allows teams to export all collected responses from the project.
Exports are often used for:
Internal documentation
Implementation handoffs
Data review
Sharing onboarding information with other teams
Why the Responses Tab Is Useful
The Responses tab allows teams to review project information quickly without navigating through each individual task.
Teams commonly use this view to:
Review onboarding data submitted by customers
Validate collected information before implementation
Reference customer details during project work
Export onboarding information for internal documentation
For projects that collect a large amount of structured information, the Responses tab becomes one of the most efficient ways to review that data.
Best Practices
✔ Use clear and descriptive subtask labels so responses are easy to understand in this view
✔ Review responses regularly during onboarding to ensure required information has been submitted
✔ Export responses when sharing onboarding details with internal teams
