Viewing Email Activity for a Project

Last updated: March 11, 2026

OnRamp records all project-related email activity in the Activity tab of a project. This allows teams to see when emails were sent, who sent them, and review the contents of those messages.

This is helpful for understanding communication history with customers and confirming when notifications or updates were delivered.

Where to View Email Activity

To view email activity:

  1. Open a Project

  2. Click the Activity tab

The Activity Log shows a timeline of events related to the project, including emails that were sent.

Each entry includes:

  • The timestamp

  • The user or system action

  • The type of activity

  • The object involved (task, project, email, etc.)

Filtering for Email Activity

If you want to view only email-related events, you can use the filters at the top of the Activity tab.

Set the filters to:

Object Type:
Email

You can also combine filters such as:

  • User

  • User Type (internal or customer)

  • Date range

This helps isolate specific communications quickly.

Viewing Email Details

When an email activity entry appears in the Activity log, you can open it to view more information.

Click View email details to see:

  • The email subject

  • Message content

  • Recipients

  • Timestamp of when the email was sent

This allows teams to confirm exactly what communication was sent to customers.

Common Email Events Logged

Email activity may appear in the Activity tab when:

  • Notifications are sent

  • Task reminders or nudges are triggered

  • Project updates generate an email

These entries provide a record of project communications for internal teams.

Best Practices

Use Activity filters to quickly find email events
Review email details when investigating communication issues
Combine date and user filters to narrow searches

The Activity Log ensures teams always have visibility into the communication history associated with a project.
