Log your time
Last updated: September 11, 2026
My Time is your week: one row per project and task, one column per day, and your total against your capacity. It opens on the current week.
Super Admins, Creators, Collaborators and Contributors all have it. If Submits time is off for your account, you will not see it, and a Super Admin can switch it back on.
Type a duration
Type into any day cell. When you leave the cell, the field shows you how it read what you typed.
You type | It means |
|---|---|
| 1 hour 30 minutes |
| 1 hour 30 minutes |
| 1 hour 30 minutes, 30 minutes |
| 90 minutes |
| 1 hour 30 minutes, 2 hours, 15 minutes |
A bare number is hours. Typing 2 gives you two hours, not two minutes.
An entry can be anything from one minute up to 24 hours, since it covers a single day.
Pick what to log against
Three controls decide which rows you see:
Projects — My projects, meaning ones you own or are an active member of, or All projects. Contributors and Collaborators always see their own projects.
Tasks — Assigned to me, Workable, or All.
Status — which project statuses to show. It starts on in-progress work; completed and archived are one click away.
Accounts — narrow to particular customers.
If the row you need is missing, use Add a row. It reaches every project, including completed and archived ones.
General project time
Every project has a row with no task, for meetings, coordination and context switching. Those hours count in project and account totals. They are left out of task-level variance, because there is no estimate to compare them against.
Other places you can log
The same field, with the same rules, also appears:
in the Time panel of a task's detail slideout;
on a task row in a project's table, beside worked and allotted;
on a project's Time tab.
Mark a day off
If you were away, mark the day off on the grid instead of logging zero. Days off are whole days, and they lower the capacity your week is measured against.
Use a spreadsheet instead
Download gives you a CSV of the rows the grid is showing, filled in with whatever you have already logged. Hours are written as decimals so Excel reads them correctly.
Upload applies your changes:
The week comes from the file's date columns, so you cannot apply last week's sheet to this week.
Rows are matched on a hidden key, so renaming a project or task will not move your hours.
Blank cells are left alone. An upload adds and corrects; it never deletes.
You can type 1:30 in the file by hand. It accepts every format the grid does.
Edit and delete
You can change or delete your own entries while the week is still open. Once you submit the week, they are read-only until it is reopened.
Only you can edit your entries. On a task several people have logged against, you will see their hours but can only edit your own.
