Time Reports
Last updated: September 11, 2026
Seven reports live under Insights › Time, available to Super Admins, Creators and Integrators.
Hours also appear in context on a project's Time tab, a customer account's Time tab, and each person's profile Time tab. Collaborators and Contributors can open those, with the people breakdown showing only their own row.
Collaborators use the rest of Insights but not the Time reports. Contributors do not have Insights.
Filters
Every report shares one filter bar, so you can move between them without setting up your view again. Pick a date range, then choose week, month or quarter.
Not every filter applies to every report. Utilization takes people only. Allotted vs worked has no person filter, because an estimate belongs to a task rather than to a person.
Utilization
Logged hours against each person's capacity, over time. Everybody appears, including people who logged nothing, since that is worth knowing either way. Below 60% of capacity reads as under-loaded.
Capacity comes from the person's own figure, or from your organization default. Somebody with neither shows blank rather than a percentage.
Filters: people.
Forward capacity
Who has room in the coming weeks. Instead of hours already logged, this uses hours still promised: every open assigned task with an estimate contributes its remaining time, spread across the working days up to its due date.
Tasks with no estimate, or no due date, are left out and counted, so you can see how much of the picture is not covered. Overdue work lands in the current week. Time off lowers capacity.
The same projection appears as a staffing outlook on a project's Time tab, where you can see whether the people on a project can absorb more.
Filters: accounts, projects, people. Eight weeks by default, up to 12.
Where time went
What kind of work is using the hours. Group by account, project, playbook, module, task or person.
Module is the useful one: a module is a phase of a playbook, so hours by module across every project shows which stage of your process is expensive. Small slices collapse into a single row you can expand.
Filters: accounts, projects, playbooks, people, modules.
Allotted vs worked
Which projects and tasks are running hot against their estimates. Tasks with no estimate are counted separately rather than shown as an overrun.
Filters: accounts, projects, playbooks, modules.
Playbook variance
Whether your estimates hold up, averaged across every project run from the same template. Where a module is consistently off, it suggests a new estimate you can apply to the template in one action.
Averages over fewer than five projects are flagged.
No filters — the playbook picker is the control.
Time entries
Every logged entry, filterable and exportable. Use it to drill into a figure that looks wrong, or to hand somebody the underlying rows.
Filters: accounts, projects, playbooks, people, modules. Exports: CSV and XLSX.
Time data quality
How complete your data is, so you know how far to trust the other reports. It shows the share of expected weeks not yet submitted, which weeks are past due, and entries worth a second look — anything over 12 hours, or backdated more than 30 days.
It reports on the data, not on people. There is no ranking and no per-person score.
Filters: people.
Exports
Time entries export as CSV or XLSX. Forward capacity exports as CSV. Exports use whatever filters and date range you have set.
Ask Aero
Aero answers questions about your time data — entries, timesheets and time off — for Super Admins, Creators and Integrators. It only sees what your own role can see.
