Using Saved Project & Task Filters

Last updated: March 10, 2026

Saved filters allow you to quickly view the projects or tasks that matter most to you.

Instead of configuring filters every time you visit a page, saved filters appear at the top of the page and can be clicked instantly to apply a predefined view.

OnRamp includes a few default filters and allows you to create additional ones that match how your team works.

Default Saved Project Filters

When you open the Projects page, you will see saved filters displayed near the top of the screen.

By default, OnRamp includes two system filters:

In Progress
Shows projects that are currently active.

Complete
Shows projects that have been completed.

These filters allow you to quickly toggle between active and finished projects without needing to manually configure filtering rules.

Creating a New Project Filter

You can create additional saved filters based on the criteria most important to your team.

To create a new filter:

  1. Navigate to Projects

  2. Click the Filter button

  3. Configure your filter criteria

  4. Click Create a new filter

  5. Name your filter

  6. Save it

Your new filter will now appear alongside the existing filters at the top of the page.

Filter Options Available

Project filters can be created using many different attributes, including:

Account
Filter projects belonging to specific customers.

Project Owner
View projects owned by certain internal users.

Organization Users
Filter projects that include specific internal members.

Customer Users
Find projects associated with certain customer contacts.

Project Status
Examples include In Progress or Complete.

Project Progress
Filter based on percentage completion.

Project Engagement
View projects based on engagement levels.

Project Performance
Identify projects that may need attention.

Playbook
Filter projects created from a specific playbook.

Data Fields
Segment projects based on custom data field values.

You can combine multiple criteria to create highly targeted project views.

Managing Your Saved Filters

Saved filters can be managed from your Profile Settings.

To manage them:

  1. Open your User Profile

  2. Navigate to the Filters tab

  3. Drag filters between sections to control where they appear

Filters placed in Favorite Filters will appear at the top of the Projects or Tasks page.

You can also reorder them to control the order they appear from left to right.

Saved Task Filters

Saved filters are also available on the Tasks page.

By default, OnRamp includes one system filter:

Overdue

This filter displays tasks that have passed their due date but have not yet been completed.

Teams commonly use this filter to quickly identify work that needs immediate attention.

Additional task filters can be created in the same way as project filters.

Why Saved Filters Are Useful

Saved filters help teams quickly focus on the work that matters most.

Common examples include:

  • My Projects

  • Enterprise Customers

  • Projects Starting This Week

  • Projects Missing Engagement

  • Tasks Assigned to Me

Using saved filters reduces time spent searching and allows teams to quickly surface operational insights.

Best Practices

Create filters for your most common workflows
Use data fields to build more targeted project views
Add important filters to Favorites for quick access
Use the Overdue task filter regularly to stay ahead of deadlines

Saved filters help your team stay organized and keep onboarding work moving forward.
