Creating a new Customer project in OnRamp is easy and take only a few steps.

  1. Go to Projects > "Create Project"

2. Select an option for creating a Project

  • Guided Start - A full walkthrough of project creation, including all key elements of creating a new project

  • Choose from Library - A quicker start that begins with selecting the Playbook or Modules you want included

  • Blank Project - A completely empty project where you are filling in all the details

While some are not required, the following lists key elements to consider when creating a Project, no matter the method:

  1. Project Name - This name shows up on the Customer Portal and across the application

  2. Customer (optional) - The name of the Customer you want associated with this project. Project not associated with a Customer will be labeled "None"

  3. Choosing a Playbook or Module (optional) - Use a template Playbook or Module(s) to fill out a Project's content

  4. Role Assignment - If a Playbook for Module is selected, you'll need to assign users to the Roles you had used as placeholders from the Playbook or Module

  5. Start and End Dates - The proposed Start and End of the Project. If you're using a Playbook to create the Project, the End Date will be automatically calculated based on the Playbook length and the Start Date

  6. Integrations (optional) - Associate the Project to records in your CRM, push updates to a Slack channel, etc.
