With OnRamp's Salesforce integration, you can:

(1) push OnRamp project information back to Salesforce by linking a project to an object in Salesforce; sync Notes from OnRamp to Notes in Salesforce

(2) populate the "Incoming" section of your Projects tab to display relevant incoming Salesforce Opportunities to create new Projects from.

How to get started

1. If you're an OnRamp Admin, you'll see an Integrations tab in OnRamp in Settings. Connect to Salesforce and authenticate.

  • *Notes: your connected Salesforce account must have the ability to edit and create fields. Only one user from your organization needs to authenticate.

2. Configure the Object you want to use. Click the "i" on the Salesforce card to search for and select the Object (e.g., Opportunity, Account, Lead) you wish to sync Project data

3. Link OnRamp Projects to Salesforce. Anyone in OnRamp can search for and link together a Project to a record in Salesforce - either when creating a new Project or in the "Settings" section for an existing Project.

4. Display new OnRamp fields and you're done! OnRamp will have created a number of new fields in Salesforce on the configured Object.

Simply add them to your Layout in Salesforce as desired and the linked Project's information will automatically be displayed and updated as the project progresses in OnRamp!

5. If you've added any Notes to a project, those notes will be added to the Notes section of the Object in Salesforce (if Notes are supported for your selected Object). If you edit an existing note in OnRamp, those updates will automatically push to the linked note in Salesforce.

Incoming Tab

To populate the Incoming tab of the Projects section with newly closed Opportunities, click the prompt to grant the additional permissions.

Please note:

  • OnRamp runs new queries every 5 minutes to update this list

  • This will show you the last 45 days of closed won Opportunities, but only a Go-Forward basis. Meaning, once you make the additional connection you'll only see deals closed won after that time

  • To get started, just hit the "Approve Permissions" button and install for All Users
