You can customize the URL that your customers use to access their projects in OnRamp. We set you up with a default URL companyname.portal.onramp.us.
If you want to use a custom URL, follow the steps below:
1. Choose what URL you would like to use.
Generally, you will want to choose a subdomain of your company's primary web address. This will be the link that you share with customers so they can collaborate with you through your OnRamp portal:
β_______.yourcompany.com
Examples
go.yourcompany.com
onboard.yourcompany.com
join.yourcompany.com
engage.yourcompany.com
welcome.yourcompany.com
launch.yourcompany.com
β
2. Create a CNAME record with your domain registrar
Log into your domain name registrar (e.g. Network Solutions, GoDaddy, Amazon, NameCheap, Google Domains, etc.)
Add a new Domain Record of type:
CNAME
Enter your desired URL and point the record to:
custom.onramp.us
This allows OnRamp to enable your custom site and interface with your unique experience
Note:
- If you are using Cloudflare, the CNAME record can not be proxied. Contact us for additional instructions if your DNS implementation requires proxying this record.
- If you have a CAA Record on your root domain, you will need to disable it while the SSL Cert is provisioned or you can contact us and we can give you our issuer which you can add to your CAA Record.
