Use Collaborative Account Notes to capture important customer context, share updates across your team, and keep information connected to the right account. Notes can include comments from multiple users and even sync to external systems like Salesforce, helping smooth the sales-to-CS handoff.
Steps to Follow
1. Go to a customer record
From the left navigation, click Customers.
Select the account you want to document.
2. Open the Notes tab
In the account detail view, select Notes.
You’ll see existing notes and any comments from teammates.
3. Add a new note
Click Add Note.
Enter your note title and content.
Use
@mentionto tag teammates who should review or comment.
4. Invite collaboration
Team members can add threaded comments below your note.
Use comments to capture updates, meeting recaps, or customer feedback.
5. Push to an external system (optional)
If your OnRamp instance is connected to a CRM like Salesforce, click Push to External System to sync the note.
Linked notes stay visible across both systems, reducing duplicate entry.
6. Save your work
Click Save to record your note and notify any mentioned users.
Tips & Troubleshooting
💡 Tip: Create one ongoing “Account Summary” note per customer to track milestones, goals, and relationship health.
⚙️ If you don’t see the Notes tab, check your user permissions or contact your OnRamp admin.
