Why Whitelisting Matters

Email filters do a great job of keeping out spam and security threats, but sometimes they’re a little too cautious—blocking legitimate emails in the process. That means important OnRamp notifications, like project updates and task assignments, could end up lost or delayed.

By whitelisting OnRamp’s emails, you ensure that every critical update lands where it should: in your inbox. No missed alerts, no unnecessary delays—just smooth, uninterrupted communication that keeps your team moving forward.

1. Whitelist OnRamp's Email Domain and Address

To prevent filtering issues, allow inbound email from:

  • *@onramp.us (ensures all emails from the domain are delivered)

  • notifications@onramp.us (specific sender for system notifications)

2. Adjust Advanced Email Security Filters

Depending on your organization’s email provider, *follow the appropriate instructions below:

Google Workspace (Gmail):

  1. Sign in to the Google Admin Console.

  2. Navigate to Apps > Google Workspace > Gmail > Spam, Phishing, and Malware.

  3. Locate the Approved Senders list and add *@onramp.us.

  4. Save changes and apply settings.

Microsoft 365 (Outlook):

  1. Sign in to the Microsoft 365 Defender portal.

  2. Navigate to Policies & Rules > Threat Policies > Anti-Spam.

  3. Select Allowed and Blocked Senders & Domains.

  4. Add *@onramp.us and save changes.

  5. Under Connection Filtering, add OnRamp’s sending IP addresses (provided upon request if needed).

*Email providers frequently update their security settings and filtering rules. For the most up-to-date instructions on whitelisting, we recommend checking the official support site of your email provider.

Other Email Providers (Exchange, Mimecast, Proofpoint, Barracuda, etc.):

  • Locate the Safe Senders List or Allowlist Settings within your email security software.

  • Add *@onramp.us and notifications@onramp.us as trusted senders.

  • If necessary, whitelist OnRamp’s sending IP addresses (available upon request).

Checking Email Quarantine and Release Options

If OnRamp emails have already been flagged or quarantined:

  • Google Workspace: Check the Admin Quarantine section and mark emails from OnRamp as “Not Spam.”

  • Microsoft 365: Use the Quarantine Portal to release emails and report them as safe.

  • Other providers: Contact your IT team to review and release any blocked OnRamp messages.

Troubleshooting & Additional Support

If emails from OnRamp are still not coming through:

  • Verify with IT that domain and sender-based filtering is correctly configured.

  • Have IT check for any email logs that indicate rejections or blocking rules.

  • Reach out to OnRamp Support at support@onramp.us for further assistance.
